Fleet Management Application

A custom ServiceNow application that tracks vehicles, assignments, maintenance schedules, and incidents. Built to practice table design, forms, list configuration, related lists, and basic flow/notification logic.

Improvements I am currently working on:

  • Flow Designer automation: auto-create Maintenance tasks when mileage/date thresholds are reached.
  • ACLs & roles: separate Fleet Admin vs. Standard User permissions; restrict sensitive fields.
  • UI Policies & Client Scripts: conditionally show/require fields (e.g., cost when work_type = “Repair”).
  • Tests: ATF coverage for create/assign/complete flows; data integrity checks on VIN and status.
  • UX polish: add Summary dashboard (counts by status), quick actions, and related lists inline.
  • Integrations: optional import of telematics CSV; scheduled job to update mileage nightly.
